Mental Health and Addiction Resources in Houston

THANK YOU for visiting the Mental Health and Addiction Resources in Houston page at bencarrettin.com.

Please read this brief run down below to understand what this list entails and the intention of it.

This Mental Health and Addiction Resources page provides a starting point for those needing to access or learn more about options for help with addiction and emotional health concerns.

(**Suicide Prevention and Teen Crisis Resources listed near the bottom**)

The majority of the mental health and addiction resources below are listed because I have had multiple clients report good experiences, witnessed lasting, successful treatment outcomes and/or they have worked collaboratively with me to provide individualized, professional and appropriate continuity of care for my clients.

In most cases, I have actually met with these individuals and/or facility leadership, in person, to discuss their treatment philosophy and applied approaches as well as their commitment to their clients. In some cases, I have worked either with or for a listed mental health and/or addiction treatment resource in the past and have observed them in practice then and over time. (and yes, the list changes from time to time as I make updates based on new information).

*Not all client experiences or needs are the same.

*Please* do your own due diligence to find the resources that are truly the best fit for your individual needs.

Please remember that web images and a phone call are not enough information to make a wise decision – period. What you see online is marketing only. Do your own research; call and talk to every place you are considering. Always schedule a time to go out and tour the property and ask specific questions when you speak to them. A good sober house will gladly talk with you, show you around and openly answer any questions you may have. If they do not or you don’t feel it’s the right place for you, keep looking.
